Gibraltar’s lucky enough to have some lovely beaches. My two favourites have to be Sandy Bay (above) and Catalan Bay (below).
This week’s photo challenge reminded me of a post I wrote about Gibraltar’s beaches last year… A stroll around Gibraltar No.14 : Beaches
I’m linking with Nana Cathy and Wild Daffodil for this weekly photo challenge throughout 2017.
Two beautiful beaches, but what are those orange things? Love the boats.
Ahh, the orange buoys mark an area protected by netting which makes it safer for children to swim in (they can’t get too deep) and it keeps jelly fish out. The government have put them out on each beach in recent years.
Wonderful beaches, very different atmospheres.
Thank you 😊
Fascinating images, I can’t help thinking about Global Warming though.
Hmmm you are right. It’s a great worry.
